Reportar utan gränser har nyligen publicerat 2011 års pressfrihetsindex. Listan
grundar sig på femtio frågor som journalister runtom i världen ha fått svara på.
Sverige har fallit sju placeringar sedan föregående år.
Länder som Rwanda, Jemen och Syrien har fallit ända ner till botten av listan.
Det kan dock noteras att ett flertal Europeiska länder som Danmark, Irland och Belgien har halkat längre ner i rankningen.

Det var ett tag sedan jag fick tid över att skriva. In för det nya året ska jag dock försöka bättra mig. Det är glädjande att bloggen har läsare från en rad olika länder (t. ex Iran, Ryssland och Ukraina).
Under hösten ökade jordens befolkning till över 7 miljarder människor. Den svenska hemsidan Globalis har ett avsnitt som på ett överskådligt sätt redogör för befolkningsstatistik. Man måste dock kunna svenska för att kunna ta till sig innehållet. Jag rekommendera Google translate för den som inte talar svenska.
För den som vill läsa om befolkningsutvecklingen under året finns det mycket information i National Geographic. Dessa texter är dock inte gratis. En karta över befolkningstätheten i världen går dock att ladda ner utan kostnad.

Mycket av innehållet går även att hitta i t.ex CIA World Factbook.Användaren kan dock ta del av OECDs egna undersökningar. PISA-undersökningen som mäter läsförmågan hos barn i olika länder går att läsa i sin helhet. Det är de långa utredande texterna som är fördelen med ”OECD-library”.OECD har 34 medlemsstater. Etiketter och Dewey

Jag har lyckats komma på hur man märker blogginägg med etiketter som synliggörs på bloggens sida. Jag tackar för hjälpen jag fått från läsare av mailinglistan Skolbib. Jag brottas med att klassificera inläggen enligt Deweys decimalsystem. SAB-systemet kommer ju att ersättas av Dewey på svenska bibliotek om inte allt för länge så det kan ju vara bra att ha kunskaper i ämnet. Fler klassificeringar kommer framöver.
